Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal data this website collects, why it collects it, how long it is kept and what you can do about it. It is written to be read rather than to be survived, so it is shorter than most documents of its kind.

Who is responsible

This site is operated by an independent publisher based in the Czech Republic, which is the data controller for the purposes described below. There is no company registration to quote and no staffed office; the site is run by a small editorial team. Questions about anything on this page should go to [email protected].

This is an information website. There are no user accounts, no login, no comments and no contact form, and we do not ask you for your name, address or payment details at any point.

What we collect

Server logs Like every website, ours records requests: the IP address the request came from, the browser or user agent string, the page requested and the time. These are generated by the web server and by our hosting provider, and are used for security and to diagnose faults.
Affiliate click records When you follow a link to a casino, the redirect on our server records which casino was clicked, the time and the IP address of the request. This is how we check that our links work and see which pages are used. See the section below.
Cookies This site sets no advertising cookies and no analytics cookies of its own. See the cookies section for the full position.
Email you send us If you write to us, we hold your email address and whatever you include in the message, for as long as it takes to deal with the enquiry.

Affiliate tracking, specifically

This is the part of our data processing that matters most to readers, so here it is without the usual vagueness.

Every casino link on this site points at our own domain first, in the form /go/<casino>/. When you follow one, our server records the click — which casino, when, and the IP address of the request — and then forwards your browser to the operator. That record is used to confirm the redirects are working and to count interest in each casino. It is not used to build a profile of you, and it is not combined with any other data.

Once your browser arrives at the operator’s site, the operator sets its own tracking cookie on its own domain. That cookie is what allows the operator to know that your visit came from this site, and it is what determines whether a commission is eventually paid. We have no access to it and no control over it. The operator is an independent company and a separate data controller, and its own privacy policy governs what it does with your data from that point — including anything you do after registering.

We never receive your name, address, payment details, deposit history or account activity from an operator. Commission reports reach us only as totals.

Our legal basis

Under Article 6 of the UK GDPR and the EU GDPR, we rely on the following:

  • Legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f)) for server logs, security, fraud prevention and the operation of the affiliate redirect. Keeping a website running and protecting it from abuse is a legitimate interest, and the data involved is minimal.
  • Legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f)) for click records, which are necessary for the site’s funding model to function and are not used for profiling.
  • Consent (Article 6(1)(a)) where we ever ask for it — for example if you ask to be added to a mailing list. You may withdraw consent at any time, and we do not operate a newsletter at present.
  • Legal obligation (Article 6(1)(c)) where we are required to keep or disclose something by law.

How long we keep it

Server logs are rotated and deleted by our hosting provider on a short cycle; we do not maintain a long-term archive of them. Affiliate click records are kept only as long as they are useful for checking that the redirects work, and are cleared periodically. Emails are kept for as long as needed to resolve the matter and for a reasonable period afterwards, in case the same question comes up again. We do not keep personal data indefinitely because it is easier than deleting it.

Third parties

  • Our hosting provider, which stores the site and its server logs on our behalf.
  • Affiliate partners — the casinos we link to, which receive the click and set their own cookie, as described above.

Some of these recipients are located outside the UK and the European Economic Area. Where that is the case, transfers take place on the basis of the safeguards set out in the UK GDPR and the EU GDPR, such as standard contractual clauses, or because the transfer is necessary to take steps at your request before entering into a contract with the operator — which is what following a sign-up link is.

We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it with anyone for their own marketing purposes.

Your rights

You have the right to ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, to have inaccurate data corrected, to have it erased, to restrict or object to how it is used, and to receive it in a portable format. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time. To exercise any of these, email [email protected]. We will respond within one month.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you can complain to a supervisory authority. As the operator is established in the Czech Republic, the lead authority is the Czech Office for Personal Data Protection (Úřad pro ochranu osobních údajů, uoou.cz). If you are in the United Kingdom, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk, 0303 123 1113). You can also complain to the authority in your own country of residence.

Cookies

This site does not set advertising cookies, does not run Google Analytics or any other third-party analytics script, and does not track you across other websites. There is no cookie banner because there are no non-essential cookies to consent to.

Cookies that you will encounter in connection with this site are set by the operators you visit after clicking through, on their own domains. Those are outside our control and are covered by their policies, not this one. If you want to limit them, you can block third-party cookies in your browser settings, browse in a private window, or use your browser’s site-by-site cookie controls. Blocking cookies does not stop you reading anything on this site.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes in a way that affects you, the effective date at the top of the page will change with it. The current version always applies, and the terms of use and affiliate disclosure should be read alongside it.

Questions about this policy, or about anything else on the site, can be sent to [email protected] or raised through the contact page.
