Low Wagering Casinos Not on GamStop
A wagering requirement is the number of times you must stake a bonus before any of it becomes withdrawable. It is the single most expensive line in a casino’s terms, and it is the number the headline percentage is designed to distract you from. A low wagering requirement is therefore one of the most valuable things a bonus can have — and one of the rarest.
This page is the practical companion to our no wagering page, which explains what wagering is and what it costs. Here we deal with the question that page raises: which casinos actually have low wagering, and — more usefully — what the number leaves out.
The finding, stated plainly: all 10 casinos we compare publish a wagering requirement, and they sit in a narrow band. The nine in the shared group state a standard 30x; GoldenBet is quoted at 35x. So the multiplier is not what separates these casinos — the real difference is the game weighting behind it. The shared group publishes its weighting (slots 100%, table and live games 10%, baccarat 0%), and that detail changes the cost of a bonus far more than one multiplier versus another.

What counts as low wagering
There is no universal threshold, but there are useful reference points. In the wider online casino market, wagering requirements typically fall between 20x and 50x, with 35x being the most common single figure. A requirement below 30x is low for this market; a requirement below 20x is genuinely rare; and a bonus with no wagering at all is rare enough to be a selling point in itself.
| Wagering | How to read it |
|---|---|
| No wagering | Winnings are cash. Very rare, and usually attached to a smaller bonus. |
| Under 20x | Low by any standard. Worth attention when it appears. |
| 20x – 30x | Low for this market. At the good end of what offshore casinos offer. |
| 30x – 40x | The common band. Neither a red flag nor a selling point. |
| Over 40x | High, and worth weighing carefully against the size of the bonus. |
Two caveats sit behind that table and they matter more than the numbers. First, the multiplier is only half the calculation — the other half is the size of the bonus it is applied to, so 30x on a large bonus can demand more turnover than 40x on a small one. Second, the multiplier tells you nothing about game weighting, which decides how much of your play actually counts toward the requirement. A low multiplier with heavy weighting against table games can be worse than a higher one that counts everything.
What the casinos actually state
All ten casinos we compare publish a wagering figure. Ranked from lowest:
| Casino | Stated wagering | Where it is stated |
|---|---|---|
| Cheeky Wins | 30x | Stated in the published bonus terms |
| 1000 Spins | 30x | Stated in the published bonus terms |
| Doctor Spins | 30x | Stated in the published bonus terms |
| Superb | 30x | Stated in the published bonus terms |
| WinnerCasino | 30x | Stated in the published bonus terms |
| Electric Wins | 30x | Stated in the published bonus terms |
| Galaxy Spins | 30x | Stated in the published bonus terms |
| MaximalBet | 30x | Stated in the published bonus terms |
| Extreme Spins | 30x | Stated in the published bonus terms |
| GoldenBet | 35x | Quoted by most sources, though not stated in the operator’s own published terms |
The nine casinos in the shared group state a standard 30x in their bonus terms — the same figure across every brand, because they run on one platform. GoldenBet is quoted at 35x, but as its review notes, that figure is not in its own published terms and varies between sources, so it should be treated as indicative rather than confirmed.
A 30x versus a 35x is not a meaningful difference in this market — both sit at the low end of the usual 20x–50x range, and neither is a selling point over the other. If the multiplier were the whole story, there would be nothing to choose between these casinos on bonus terms at all. It is not the whole story.
Why game weighting matters more
The multiplier says how many times you must stake the bonus. The game weighting says how much of each stake actually counts toward that total — and it is the figure that decides the real cost, because it varies enormously by game type.
The shared group publishes its weighting, which is unusual and useful:
| Game type | Contribution to wagering |
|---|---|
| Slots, bingo, scratch cards, keno | 100% |
| Table games, card games, live casino | 10% |
| Video poker | Under 2% |
| Baccarat | 0% |
Read the second row again, because it is the one that catches people out. A £1 stake on a live-dealer table counts as 10p toward the requirement. So clearing a 30x requirement on live blackjack takes ten times the staking that the same 30x takes on slots — and on baccarat it counts for nothing at all. The multiplier did not change; the weighting did.
This is why a low multiplier is not the same as a cheap bonus. A 30x requirement cleared on slots costs a fraction of what the same 30x costs on the live tables. If you play anything other than slots, the weighting line matters more than the multiplier line — and it is the line most operators do not publish. The nine casinos in the shared group do, which is a point in their favour.
Comparing two offers properly
With the multipliers this close, the arithmetic has to be done on the turnover, not the multiple. The expected cost of clearing a bonus is the turnover the requirement forces, multiplied by the house edge of the games you play.
Cheeky Wins at 30x on its first-deposit stage of 500% up to €1,000 forces turnover of €30,000 — an expected cost of around €1,200 at a 96% RTP, against a €1,000 bonus. GoldenBet at 35x on a £1,500 headline forces £52,500 of turnover, an expected cost of around £2,100. Both are negative before variance, which is normal for this market — the point is that the lower multiplier is attached to the smaller bonus here, so the two come out closer than the multipliers alone suggest.
That is the lesson worth carrying to any casino: compare the turnover, not the multiplier, and then check the weighting on top. Two bonuses with different multipliers and different sizes can cost almost the same to clear, and the one with the lower number is not automatically the better bet.
What to ask before you deposit
- The wagering multiplier Every casino here states one — 30x across the shared group, 35x at GoldenBet. Confirm it in the terms, not just on the advert.
- What the multiplier applies to The bonus alone, or the bonus plus the deposit. The difference roughly doubles the turnover, and it is not always stated clearly.
- The game weighting How much each game type contributes. The shared group publishes this (slots 100%, table and live games 10%, baccarat 0%); check whether the casino you are considering does, and ask if it does not.
- The time limit and the maximum bet How long you have to clear it, and the largest stake allowed while the bonus is active. A short window and a low maximum bet together make a requirement much harder than the multiplier implies.
None of the casinos we compare advertises a genuinely no-wagering bonus, but all ten state a requirement — and the nine in the shared group go further and publish the weighting. The realistic aim in this market is not zero wagering; it is a low, stated requirement with a published weighting, so you can work out what the bonus actually costs before you claim it.

Frequently Asked Questions
Which casinos here have the lowest wagering?
All ten state a figure, and they sit close together: 30x across the nine casinos in the shared group, and 35x at GoldenBet. On the multiplier alone there is little to choose between them — the more useful comparison is the game weighting behind the number, which the shared group publishes.
What is a low wagering requirement?
In this market, below 30x is low and below 20x is rare. The most common figure is around 35x. But the multiplier alone is not the whole story — a low multiplier on a large bonus can demand more turnover than a higher one on a small bonus, and the game weighting can change the cost by a factor of ten.
Do these casinos publish their wagering?
Yes — all ten state a requirement, and the nine in the shared group go further and publish the game weighting as well: slots count 100% toward the requirement, table and live games only 10%, and baccarat 0%. That weighting is the figure most operators leave out, and it decides the real cost of a bonus more than the multiplier does.
Does a lower wagering requirement always mean a better bonus?
No. Compare the turnover the requirement forces, not the multiplier. That means multiplying the wagering by the bonus size. A 30x requirement on a large bonus can demand more turnover than a 40x requirement on a small one.
What is game weighting?
The percentage of each game type that counts toward a wagering requirement. At the casinos in the shared group, slots count 100%, table and live games count only 10%, and baccarat counts nothing. So a 30x requirement is far cheaper to clear on slots than on the live tables, even though the multiplier is identical.
Is a bonus with no wagering available anywhere here?
No. None of the ten casinos we compare advertises a genuinely no-wagering welcome bonus, but all ten state a requirement, and the shared group also publishes its weighting. A stated requirement with a published weighting is worth more than an unstated one, because it lets you work out what the bonus actually costs before you claim it.
